This restaurant, with a name that is Italian slang, (roughly translated into an exclamation such as "good heavens!") actually serves, for the most part, French cuisine and fine wine that is surprisingly moderate in price. The atmosphere is casual, although the food itself comes across as being upscale. There are some elusive influences that sneak into the dominant French dishes, with Asian, Italian, and even Mexican and Southwestern influenced dishes popping up now and then. But, the effects must be positive, since Sapristi! seems to be gaining in popularity with diners with each passing day.
